Summer Troop Meetings

Posted on Jun 23 2019 - 11:13pm

We only meet some weeks during the summer.  Please watch the calendar and your emails for specifics.

We will meet on July 18, August 8, August 22, and August 29.  If you are in town, please attend.

Summer Camp Prerequisites

Posted on Jun 16 2019 - 11:36pm

All Scouts should check the merit badges that they are signed up for on the Troop calendar and make sure that they complete any pre-requisites before we leave for summer camp.   Nobody wants to be sitting around writing essays on a hot summer night at camp!  Do yourselves a favor and get them done before you go.

Happy Father's Day!

Posted on Jun 16 2019 - 11:36pm

We would like to wish all the Dads a Happy Father's Day!   Our Scouts are fortunate to also have positive role models in our Scoutmaster, Assistant Scoutmasters, and other adult leaders.  We hope you all had a wonderful day on Sunday, and we want to make sure that you know that you are appreciated.

Thank you for a great First Aid Merit Badge weekend

Posted on Jun 16 2019 - 11:36pm

We would like to say a huge thank you to the 12 adults and 13 youth who together gave over 200 hours to teach or assist with the First Aid Merit Badge this weekend.  Thirteen Scouts are very close to finishing this Eagle required merit badge!  Our victims and their realistic wounds helped everyone to practice what they had learned during the day.  If your Scout attended, make sure to ask them about the special effects for the day!
