The new location for the Gun show is the DTC Expo, Dulles Town Center, 21050 Dulles Town Circle, Sterling VA 20166.  Scouts age 13 and older can work as well as adults (both youth and adults get paid equally).  Remember this is manual labor.  Uniform is Class B.  Work gloves are recommended.  Proceeds will be deposited into Scout Accounts within a month after the gun show, based on the number of hours worked.   Please sign up on the troop calendar and indicate which hours you can work.  Questions, contact Sara Skees at saraskees@gmail.com.

Scouting for Food Flyer Distribution will be Saturday, November 7 at 9am. We expect to be done between 11am and noon. We need parents to drive Scouts in neighborhoods that we will assign that morning. This is an important Troop service project and we need as many Scouts as possible to participate. We need YOU to help with Scouting for Food Pick Up and Sorting on Saturday, November 14th.  We start at 9am and should be finished around 2pm. 

For those of you who haven't done Scouting for Food with us before, here is how it works.  We have six areas around St Timothy's that we are responsible for.  Each area will be assigned two adult drivers who will each hopefully have 4 Scouts to drive.  That means we need at least 12 drivers and 48 Scouts to work bag pick up.  Siblings are more than welcome to help with this effort.  Service hour credit will be given to all who work. 

Our Troop Lock In and annual planning meeting will be held overnight from 9pm Saturday November 14 through 87am Sunday November 15. This year our Annual Lock In will be held at Vertical Rock. In addition to rock climbing we will have our annual planning session and PLC.

We have a fun volunteer opportunity at the St Timothy School Harvest Festival on Friday, October 23.  We will be manning our famous Boy Scout Haunted Trailer.   The more help we have, the more fun it is!   Sign up on the Troop calendar.
