Important Information for This Week

Posted on Apr 5 2020 - 11:25pm

Starting this week, although we cannot have regular Troop meetings, Patrols will start having virtual weekly meetings via Zoom.  Please make sure that you have the Zoom App installed on your computer or phone so that you can participate.  There are two important documents that will be sent to you early this week.  The first is the Troop Roster which will include the Patrol assignments for all our Scouts.  New Scouts will remain together for the next few weeks.  We need you to review the roster to ensure that all contact information is correct.   The second document is called "Troop 7369 Scout Activities During Social Distancing" and includes information regarding advancement, merit badges, and service during the stay-at-home order and social distancing time.  Please make sure that your Scout takes advantage of the opportunities presented in this document.

Coronavirus Update as of Sunday, March 29

Posted on Mar 29 2020 - 11:26pm

As of Sunday, March 29, we have had to cancel all events of 10 or more people until at least the end of April.   This means that we will not have regular Troop meetings or Merit Badge University in April.   BUT we will still have some Scout activities to keep everyone involved.   If you are ready for a Scoutmaster conference, contact SM Warsocki to get on the schedule.   If you need a Board of Review, contact Mr. Haas as usual.   We are still working on opportunities for earning merit badges and doing hikes and orienteering, so watch your email for details.  We will schedule a Parent meeting via Zoom within the next week or so.   Stay safe everyone.

New Leadership and Patrol Meetings

Posted on Mar 29 2020 - 11:25pm

Our leadership change is in effect immediately.   Scout leaders, watch your email for a PLC notice.  Since we can't have Troop meetings, we will have virtual patrol meetings  via Zoom.   Your new patrol leaders will be in touch with details.   Meetings will be held on Thursday evenings.

Coronavirus Update as of Sunday, March 22

Posted on Mar 22 2020 - 11:15pm

We trust that you all are staying well and managing during this time of social distancing.   This is a great time for Scouts to be working on rank requirements, including merit badges for our senior Scouts.   As you know, all events at St Timothy's are cancelled until further notice, so we do not know when the next Troop meeting will be held.   We'll let you know as soon as we hear anything new.   We're looking at some hikes and small group activities starting in the beginning of April and will let you know when we have a schedule.

Congratulations to our new Scout Leaders

Posted on Mar 15 2020 - 11:48pm

Congratulations to Henry Moore, our new Senior Patrol Leader and all the youth leaders who were elected last Thursday.  Although we won't be able to have a change of leadership ceremony on March 22 since the Green and Gold has been moved to May, watch your email for details of when this will actually happen.  We are still in need of two more Assistant Patrol Leaders, so Scouts who are 1st Class or 2nd Class who are interested should contact SM Warsocki.  Here is the slate that was elected.  Patrol assisgnments will be made after the New Scout campout.

Turn In Summer Camp Forms Please

Posted on Mar 15 2020 - 10:26pm

While you're sitting around wondering what is going to be cancelled next, please take a moment to fill out your summer camp form.  It's is imperative that I get all the forms as soon as possible because I have to input the merit badge choices to Camp Rodney this month.  Please email the form and then provide your downpayment at the next Troop meeting.  If you have already turned in your form, please check the Troop calendar and make sure I have your first choices correctly listed.  If there is nothing listed next to your name, then I need you to submit your form.  If you haven't RSVPed on the website yet, just send your form because I've turned off online registration so that the information doesn't get changed without my knowledge.  Let me know if you have any questions.  Mrs. Warsocki
