Troop,

We will be disassembling the Nativity at St. Timothy’s on Saturday, January 10th, beginning at 9:00 AM. Please wear work clothes and dress appropriately for the weather. If you have tools, bring them along, and don’t forget your water bottle.

Marcus David’s Eagle Project will be building 200 beeping eggs for blind and visually impaired children. The work will take place in his basement and will involve soldering and using heat guns. If you have safety glasses or gloves, please bring them.  We will only need around 20 people for this project but more are welcomed.  We will definitely need older scouts for this project. It will take around 4 hours and dinner + drinks will be provided.  Anyone with soldering experience or electronics in general please note that when you sign up.  Please sign up on the troop calendar whether or not you can attend.

The 2nd Annual Cub Run District Klondike Derby will include challenging Patrol/Den competitions on the Klondike Trail, a Sled Race, and the Chili Cook-Off. Scouts will enjoy up to 2 nights of camping (Troops, Crews, and AOL Dens), a campfire, and a Scouts Own Service. We encourage every Troop, Crew & Pack to participate – even if only for the daytime/campfire events on Saturday. Scouts should bring their enthusiasm and skills to brave the cold (and hopefully the snow) and take on the Klondike trail!

Join the troop for a fun and active winter outing at Liberty Mountain Resort! This event includes an opportunity for Scouts to work toward the Snow Sports merit badge, with a classroom session led by Patrick McInerney followed by a full day on the slopes.
